UK drip trays worth the extra cash over the cheap local ones or just paying for the name

I finally got fed up with the flimsy black trays I’d been using under our chemical totes that would crack if you even looked at them funny so I ordered a couple of those industrial spill trays UK high quality products from Crateco’s site a few weeks back and I’m actually kind of impressed but also a little surprised at how different they feel compared to the usual stuff you see stacked up at the hardware places around Ajman, the plastic is just rigid like it’s not going to warp the second a barrel sits on it for a month and the raised lip is taller than I expected which is nice for peace of mind. I’ve got one under a tote of degreaser now and another under a leaky old gearbox that’s waiting for a rebuild and neither one has shown any sign of stress or sagging even with this humidity making everything else in the shop feel soft and sticky, but my accountant saw the invoice and made a face at me about the price so now I’m second guessing if I should have just doubled up on the cheap ones and replaced them every six months like I used to do. Anyone else running these long term in a hot workshop environment and can tell me if they actually hold up for years or if they eventually get brittle and develop hairline cracks around the corners like every other plastic thing out here eventually does, I’d love to know if I made the right call or if I’m just going to be annoyed in a year when the sun and chemicals do their thing regardless of where it was manufactured.
