I’m dealing with a weird one on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. When I’m stuck in stop and go traffic around Abu Dhabi, the temperature gauge starts creeping up past the middle, sometimes almost to the three quarter mark. But as soon as I get moving on the highway, it drops right back down to normal. I’ve checked the coolant level and it’s fine, no visible leaks anywhere. A buddy said it could be the electric fan not kicking on properly or maybe the radiator is partially clogged. I don’t wanna just throw a new fan at it without knowing for sure. I’ve been looking for Premium Radiator Repair Abu Dhabi shops that can actually test the fan clutch, check the coolant flow, and maybe do a thermal imaging scan to find hot spots. Has anyone had this exact symptom on a JK and found the culprit? I’m hoping it’s not the water pump because that looks like a pain to replace on these. Also wondering if using a higher percentage of water instead of coolant would help in this heat or if that’s a bad idea. Really don’t wanna get stranded on the side of the road with an overheated engine, especially in summer. Any recommendations for a diagnostic shop that won’t just guess would be awesome. Thanks everyone.
