Finally found a shop that fixed my Mustang’s AC without making me feel like I was getting played
I don’t usually write these kinds of posts but after the runaround I got from a couple places I figured it might help someone else with a fifth gen. My 2015 Mustang GT had this issue where the AC would blow cold on the passenger side but the driver side vent felt like it was just pushing around leftover engine heat, classic blend door actuator failure. Took it to one shop that tried to tell me the whole compressor was shot and I needed to drop like four grand on a full system replacement which just didn’t sound right to me because the passenger side was freezing. Decided to get a second opinion from a place I found through a Mustang owners group on WhatsApp and honestly it was night and day. The guy actually let me watch while he ran the diagnostic and showed me the actuator motor was just stuck in the hot position. An hour of labor and a new actuator later and I’ve got ice cold air blowing straight at my face again. If you’re hunting for a Sharjah Mustang AC Reliable Mechanics Workshop that won’t try to upsell you on stuff you don’t need, these guys are over in Industrial Area 5 near the BMW road and they seem to know these S197 and S550 cars inside out. Just relieved I can finally drive without having to blast the fan and pretend the cool air from the passenger side was reaching me.
